This recipe has two of my favorite things, spaghetti and cream cheese! It is a pretty simple recipe and doesn't take to much preparation time. It is a good way to mix up the regular old spaghetti recipe. When I make this recipe I don't always have tomato sauce in my pantry so I like to substitute it with Prego or Ragu. Hope you enjoy it!
Ingredients
¾ lb. ground beef
¼ tsp. garlic salt
1 green onion chopped
8 oz. can tomato sauce
½ tsp. sugar
Dash of pepper
1 ½ oz. cream cheese softened
¾ cup sour cream
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
6 oz. pkg. spaghetti noodles
Directions
Step 1: Cook noodles according to directions on noodle package. Drain the noodles and set aside.
Step 2: Brown hamburger in a skillet over medium heat, then add onion and garlic into browned hamburger. Drain grease from hamburger.
Step 3: Add sugar, salt, and tomato sauce to hamburger and shimmer for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Combine cream cheese and sour cream and fold into spaghetti
noodles.
Step 5: Place noodle mixture in an 8” pan and top with meat sauce. Sprinkle cheese on top.
