Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are seriously the best cookies ever! I have tried many cookies and these are by far my favorite, probably because they have so much butter in them (butter makes everything taste better).  This recipe makes so many cookies, you could feed an army.  I like to roll up some dough and freeze it so I can have cookies for later.

Ingredients
1 lb. butter (4 cubes) softened
1 ½ cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
6 cups flour
1 pkg. chocolate chips (add to your liking)

Directions

In mixing bowl add softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, and eggs.  Than mix in the vanilla.  Add baking soda, flour, and salt and mix thoroughly.  Dough should be mixed thoroughly and slightly sticky.  Add chocolate chips to your liking.  Roll dough into walnut sized balls and place 12 onto a baking sheet.  Bake at 375 for 8 minutes.
Yields: 4-6 dozen
